Is it a normal matter to miss your partner whenever he is asleep? Do not get me wrong, I value his precious, precious rest - more than ever - but there is always this pervading feeling of genuine loneliness, almost akin to melancholia, whenever his body retires even for a short while, and it baffles me, like I want to rouse him, and love him in panic; and somehow, I always find myself finding reasons to wake him up, only to end up lying next to him, feigning sleep, until I fall asleep myself.
